First Place is made by Leftway Labs Limited (“Leftway”, “we”). These are its own rules. They sit on top of the Leftway Terms, which cover your Leftway Account, our liability and the law that applies. By using First Place you agree to both. How we handle your information is on our Privacy page.

Your home is yours

The scans, floor plans and answers you add stay yours. You give us permission to store them and process them only to run the app for you, and you can delete them at any time.

Measurements are estimates

Room sizes come from your iPhone’s scan and are accurate to a few centimetres, not to the millimetre. Check anything that matters, like whether a sofa fits through a door, with a tape measure before you buy or build.

The guide is a guide

The guide’s questions and suggestions are written by an AI model. They can be wrong. They aren’t professional advice on building, safety or anything else.

Scan your own place

Only scan homes you live in or have permission to scan.

Changes

The app is new and will change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll say so here first.
